"i .:.' .; <br />,\.P"".. i <br />. -.: ~ " ~ 6 ,,~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 11 268 <br /> <br />APR 1 6 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON RELATING TO FIELD ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT 1989-90 - <br />REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to construct certain water main <br /> <br />replacements on Hudson Street, Massachusetts Avenue, Carolina <br /> <br />Avenue, Broadway, Alameda de las Pulgas, and Chestnut Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., <br /> <br />of Palo Alto, California, for certain services, including, but <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />limited <br /> <br />to, <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />management <br /> <br />services, <br /> <br />daily <br /> <br />inspections, and other services during construction of said <br /> <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., has represented to <br /> <br />City that it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform <br /> <br />those services; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., of Palo Alto, California, <br /> <br />entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Construction Management Engineering <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Water Main Replacement Project 1989-90 <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City" (form dated 04/12/90), a copy of which is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />... <br />
