<br />Check and recognize defects in tree climbing and trimming <br />equipment. <br /> <br />Assist in the supervision and training of less experienced <br />personnel. <br /> <br />TREE MAINTENANCE WORKER I <br /> <br />Experience and Education <br /> <br />Any combination of experience and education that would likely <br />provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A <br />typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> <br />Experience: <br /> <br />One year or work experience involving tree maintenance work <br />including some tree tirimming and some climbing experience. <br /> <br />Education: <br /> <br />Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade suplemented <br />by specialized training in tree care work. <br /> <br />TREE MAINTENANCE WORKER II <br /> <br />In addition to the Experience for Tree Maintenance Worker I, <br />the II level class requires: <br /> <br />Three years of work experience involving tree maintenance work <br />and high climbing comparable to that of Tree Maintenance <br />Worker I in the City of Redwood City,. <br /> <br />TREE MAINTENANCE WORKER I <br /> <br />License or Certificate <br /> <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid <br />California Driver's License. <br /> <br />TREE MAINTENANCE WORKER II <br /> <br />In addition to the California Drivers License, a Tree Maintenance <br />Worker II must possess an ISA tree workers certificate. <br /> <br />'..'-' <br /> <br />',.."..' ~, '.. <br /> <br />,.~~,.,' <br /> <br />.: ,-:.,':"_J,~,': . <br /> <br />.__.::l!S <br />
