<br />CES;djm '13/21/90 (030/27) <br />n <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />MAR 2 6 1990 <br />N o. 11 2 5 ~ <br /> <br />GD!;'"\!,I" <br />I \ I \.:;; , .. ,,- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1989-90 SIDEWALK REPAIR AND <br />TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />\ 2. 5 -,0 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. \ \~)- adopted- , <br /> <br />1989, the City Clerk called for bids for the Sidewalk Repair and <br /> <br />Tree Program for 1989-1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, four bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Aberle-Scrodin, Inc., San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Aberle-Scrodin, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Aberle-Scrodin, Inc., in the amount of Three <br /> <br />Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Six and 75/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($323,686.75), computed in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal (dated March 6, 1990) for 1989-90 Sidewalk Repair and <br /> <br />Tree Program, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement 1989-90 Sidewalk Repair and <br /> <br />Tree Program" by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Aberle-Scrodin, Inc., for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which <br />
