Box 754 <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />Dear Dr. Gonzales: <br /> <br />The City Council on March 26, 1990 has authorized me to issue this letter <br />permitting Hispanos Unidos to conduct the Cinco De Mayo Celebration in <br />downtown Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions herein: <br /> <br />The permission is granted to Hispanos Unidos, hereinafter called" Permittee", <br />by the City of Redwood City, hereinafter called "City". This letter permit is <br />subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Celebration: The Celebration events shall be sponsored by and <br />conducted by the Permittee. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Revocation This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by <br />the City. This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br />3. Location: The City shall order the necessary temporary street closures <br />and provide barricades, but Permittee shall be responsible for placing <br />the barricades. The streets as shown in "Exhibit A", shall be reserved for <br />the Celebration. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />, <br />4. Dates and Times: The celebration shall be held on Sunday, May 6, <br />1990 from 10 AM to 6 PM. with set-up beginning at 6 PM. on 5/5/90. <br />Take down will be on 5/6/90 with the street completely clear my 12 AM, <br />May 7,1990. <br /> <br />5. Liquor Sales: Liquor sales will cease at 5 PM on May 6, 1990. <br />Additionally, sales will cease if the "Permittee" is requested to do so by <br />any officer of the Redwood CitY Police Department. <br /> <br />6. Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and <br />property damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, <br />boards, commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or <br />additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personat-" ' <br />injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the <br />conducting of the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted <br /> <br />I J 252- <br />
