<br />MJP.djm 03/22/90 (035/27) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />MAR 2 6 1990 <br />N 0.11249 <br /> <br />O\DI0\N~L <br />i\\\l. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET EASEMENT, <br />HILLCREST WAY, IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND <br />HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />Section 8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of <br /> <br />the State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 11232, adopted February 26, 1990, declared <br /> <br />its intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of <br /> <br />a street easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, and pursuant to Government Code Section 54955.1, <br /> <br />notice of intention to vacate the described portion of street <br /> <br />easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portion of the street easement commonly <br /> <br />known as Hillcrest Way, is no longer needed for present or <br /> <br />prospective public use, and hereby orders said restriction <br /> <br />vacated. <br /> <br />2. The portion of a street easement commonly known as <br /> <br />Hillcrest Way, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />(attached hereto and incorporated by reference), and as depicted <br />
