Box 478 <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />Dear Councilmembers: <br /> <br />This is the Peninsula Celebration'As60clatlon's formal <br />request to hold the annual Fourth of July Parade, Festival <br />and Fireworks in Redwood City on July 4, 1990. The pre- <br />parade 5K footrace will start at 9:30 AM, followed by the <br />Parade at 10:30 AM and the Festival from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. <br />At dusk the Fireworks display will again be Ileld over the <br />South Shores Property. On July 3rd and 4th an Arts & Crafts <br />Fair will be held as indicated on the attached map, along <br />with Festival location and Parade route. <br /> <br />The following City Services arc requested: <br />1. Street sweepers to be available approximately at <br />10:00 AM at Brewster and Arguello Streets to clean <br />up fresh horse droppIngs along the Parade route: <br />also along Broadway Avenue after the Festival at <br />approximately 6:00 PM. <br /> <br />2. Deliver 25 bleachers to Marshall and Winslow <br />streets on both sides of the street prior to the <br />Parade and pick up after the Parade. <br /> <br />3. Deliver barricades as necessary to locations along <br />the Parade route as determinded by the Police <br />Department to be in place before 9:00 AM. <br /> <br />4.
