<br />DES:djk 03/14/90 (044/26) <br /> <br />of Water Main Replacement Project 1989-1990 in the amount of One <br /> <br />Million Forty-two Thousand Sixty-five and NO/lOO Dollars <br /> <br /> <br />($1,042,065.00), more or less, and for the Lakeview Pressure Zone <br /> <br />Project, in the amount of Four Hundred Six Thousand Five Hundred <br /> <br /> <br />Fifty and No/I00 Dollars ($406,550.00), more or less, is, and <br /> <br />each of them is, hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said projects. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Subj ect to the provisions of paragraph 3, below, the <br /> <br /> <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, that certain <br /> <br />agreement for the construction of the Water Main Replacement <br /> <br />Project 1989-1990 and Lakeview Pressure Zone Water Main Extension <br /> <br /> <br />by and between West Valley Construction Company, Inc. and the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, providing for said work. <br /> <br />3. The authority granted in paragraph 2 hereof is <br /> <br /> <br />expressly conditioned upon receipt by the City of evidence (in <br /> <br />form satisfactory to the City Attorney) of the provision of funds <br /> <br /> <br />for the construction of the Lakeview Pressure Zone Water Main <br /> <br /> <br />Extension Project, which shall be provided pursuant to that <br /> <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Reimbursement Agreement Water <br /> <br />System Improvements (Lakeview Pressure Zone)" by and between <br /> <br />Emerald Lake Associates and Summit Drive Associates, California <br /> <br /> <br />limi ted partnerships, acting by and through Marek Development <br /> <br />Company, a California corporation, their general partner, and the <br /> <br /> <br />Ci ty of Redwood City, which agreement shall be entered into <br /> <br /> <br />pursuant to the Reimbursement Agreement Ordinance. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11241 <br />
