<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE
<br />WEEDS, DIRT, RUBBISH AND RANK GROWTHS
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 11210, adopted by the Council of
<br />
<br />the City of Redwood City on January 23, 1990, said Council
<br />
<br />declared all weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths existing upon
<br />
<br />private property within certain areas of the City of Redwood
<br />
<br />City, and in and upon the sidewalks, parkways, streets, avenues,
<br />
<br />roadways, boulevards, highways and alleys situated wi thin the
<br />
<br />City of Redwood City to be a public nuisance; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 11210 ordered a public hearing
<br />
<br />to hear any obj ections to the removal of said weeds, dirt,
<br />
<br />rubbish, and rank growths on February 26, 1990; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, due notice of such hearing was given as required by
<br />
<br />Article IV, Chapter 14, of the Code of the City of Redwood City;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE;
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY,
<br />
<br />AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />1. All protests, oral and written, to the removal of any
<br />
<br />weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths and the abatement of same
<br />
<br />declared to be a nuisance by Resolution No. 11210 of the Council
<br />\'
<br />
<br />of the City of Redwood City are hereby overruled.
<br />
<br />2. The Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City
<br />
<br />is hereby directed to remove, or cause to be removed, all weeds,
<br />
<br />dirt, rubbish and rank growths declared to be a nuisance by said
<br />
<br />Resolution No. 10996, at the expense of the owners of the lots or
<br />
