<br />DFS:djk 12/04/89 (#7) <br /> <br />,. -' CO?\( <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 11198 <br /> <br />,DEe 1 8 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY <br />OF SAN MATEO TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK TO RENDER <br />SPECIFIED SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 10, 1990 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of <br /> <br />California provides that the governing body of any city may, by <br /> <br />resolution, request the Board of Supervisors of the County to <br /> <br />permit the County Clerk to render specified services to the city <br /> <br />relating to the conduct of an election; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors, <br /> <br />such services shall be performed by the County Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires that those specified election <br /> <br />services set forth in "Exhibit A," attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein as if set out at length herein shall <br /> <br />be performed by the County Clerk for the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the General Municipal Election to be held April 10, 1990; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Request is hereby made of the Board of Supervisors of <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo to permit the County Clerk to render those <br /> <br />certain services for the consideration specified and set forth in <br /> <br />"Exhibit A" hereof for the City of Redwood City for its General <br /> <br />Municipal Election to be held April lO, 1990. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />transmi t a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors of the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
