<br />12/05/2006 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14750 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING REVISED <br />ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 14577 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, those certain documents entitled, "Standard Technical <br /> <br />Specifications", "City Standard Details", and "Design Criteria", effective October <br /> <br />13, 2003, and collectively described as "Engineering Standards for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City", have been revised by staff in order to meet current City and <br /> <br />State Codes and to contain the latest technology in materials and methods of <br /> <br />construction of public works projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, revisions to the Engineering Standards for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City include the following: <br /> <br />1. New methods of specifying asphalt paving materials; <br />2. Changes in water system installation, cathodic protection, and field <br />wrapping; <br />3. Combination Style Curb inlets; <br />4. Change in parking dimensions to "uni-stall" to conform to Zoning <br />Ordinance; <br />5. Updated requirements for NPDES; <br />6.
