<br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />Programmer Analyst II (continued) <br /> <br />QUALIF I CAT IONS <br /> <br />Abil ity to: <br /> <br />Maintain the confidential ity of departmental infonnation. <br /> <br />Prepare, operate and moni tor a computer. <br /> <br />Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with others. <br /> <br />Physi cal Characteri sti cs: <br /> <br />Must be physically capable of perfonning the essential job <br />functions of this classification. <br /> <br />Experi ence and Educati on <br /> <br />Any combination of experience and education that would <br />likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is <br />qual Hying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br />abil iti es woul d be: <br /> <br />Experi ence <br /> <br />Minimum 1 year responsible computer programming experience, <br />preferably business oriented appl ication programing <br />experience. Experience must include experience on the Prime. <br /> <br />Education <br /> <br />Also accceptable is successful completion of recognized <br />fonnal trai ni ng in computer pro grammi ng. Educati on <br />equivalent to an Bachelors degree. A major in Data <br />Processing is preferred. Additional qualifying <br />experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis <br />for the requi red educati on. <br /> <br />License or Certificate <br /> <br />Possession of a Cal ifornia Driver's 1 icense and a satisfactory <br />driving record is required. The use of a privately owned <br />vehicle may be required by the City for travel ing on City <br />busi ness or in the perfonnance of assi gned duti es. <br />
