2/8/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13551 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br /> ALMANAC FOR OFFICIAL ADVERTISING; DESIGNATING SAID <br /> NEWSPAPER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City, proposals were solicited from all newspapers of general <br />cimulation in the City for the publication of all matters of the City required to be <br />published; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Almanac, which has been adjudicated as a <br />newspaper of general cimulation with its principal office of publication located in <br />the City of Redwood City, is the lowest responsible bidder responding to said <br />solicitation for bids; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City Almanac <br /> <br />as the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
