<br />CES:d;"" 09/21/89 (080/#25) <br />SEP 25 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11155 <br /> <br />OilGrNAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF THIRTEEN (13) <br />MOTOROLA MOBILE RADIOS FOR POLICE PATROL VEHICLES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion duly <br /> <br />made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of said <br /> <br />Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, equipment and <br /> <br />supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter authorized; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Motorola Communications has offered to supply <br /> <br />thirteen (13) mobile radios required for municipal purposes <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The offer of Motorola Communications to sell thirteen <br /> <br />(13) Syntor X mobile radios for a total price of Twenty-five <br />Thousand Thirty-eight and NO/IOO ($25,038.00) is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> <br />authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />provided, however, all such documents have first been approved as <br /> <br />to form by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
