<br />MJP: i 1 08/23/89 <br /> <br />(060/25) <br /> <br />authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the <br /> <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment from Paramount Equipment Sales; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council further desires to finance the <br /> <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment through means of a lease-purchase <br /> <br />arrangement, if such means is found appropriate by the Finance <br /> <br /> <br />Director; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. This Council does hereby authorize the substitution of <br /> <br /> <br />the City of San Leandro's bidding procedures for those required <br /> <br /> <br />by the City of Redwood City, and does hereby designate the City <br /> <br /> <br />of San Leandro as the City's agent, for the purpose of <br /> <br /> <br />purchasing, through the outstanding San Leandro purchase order <br /> <br />therefor, one (1) 1500 Gallon-Per-Minute Pumper truck from <br /> <br /> <br />Paramount Equipment Sales. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into an agreement for the purchase of the aforesaid from <br /> <br />equipment from Paramount Equipment Sales. <br /> <br />3. The Finance Director is hereby directed to arrange for <br /> <br /> <br />lease purchase or other similar financing for the purchase of <br /> <br /> <br />said equipment, as he deems appropriate, and does hereby <br /> <br />authorize the City Manager to execute any and all documents <br /> <br />necessary therefor. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11142 <br />
