<br />QRIGINAL <br /> <br />(7/15/89) <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O.~ ~ <br /> <br />AUG 2 1 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE <br />COUNCIL, INC. (FAIR OAKS SENIOR CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br />Senior Center) has been established for the principal purpose of <br /> <br />providing a multipurpose Senior Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Fair Oaks Senior Center) has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1989 and ending June 30, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests <br />and desires to pay Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Senior Center the sum of FORTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN-HUNDRED EIGHTY AND <br /> <br />NO/IOO DOLLARS ($41,780.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br />and agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education <br />and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS; <br /> <br />11128 <br />
