<br />(7 -15-89) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1111 9 <br /> <br />AUG 2 1 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE REDWOOD CITY CONSORTIUM FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE IN <br />COOPERATION WITH THE CHILD CARE COODINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Consortium for School-Age Child Care was <br />established for the initial purpose of dealing with the problems and <br /> <br />needs of latchkey children ages five to fourteen years and a long term <br />purpose of promoting and guiding the implementation of a community wide <br /> <br />plan to provide child care services to Redwood children; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Child Care Coodinating Council of San Mateo in cooperation <br />with the Redwood City Consortium for School-Age Child Care has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1989 and ending June 30, 1990, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo in <br /> <br />Cooperation with The Redwood City Consortium for School-Age Child <br /> <br />Care, the sum of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND FOUR-HUNDRED AND NO/IOO DOLLARS <br />($18,400.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and The Redwood City Consortium <br />for School-Age Child Care in cooperation with the Child Care Coordinating <br /> <br />Council of San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />
