<br />CES:mmg 08/03/89 (#25/053) <br />OHIGINAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11102 <br /> <br />AUG 0 7 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />WILSEY AND HAM RELATlNG TO FIELD ENGlNEERING SERVICES <br />FOR CULVERT AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON MIDDLEFlELD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to construct certain culvert and street <br /> <br />improvements on Middlefield Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Wilsey and Ham for certain <br /> <br />services, including, but not limited to, construction management <br /> <br />services, <br /> <br />daily <br /> <br />inspections, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />during <br /> <br />construction of said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wilsey and Ham has represented to City that it is <br /> <br />uniquely qualified and experienced to perform those services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Construction Management <br /> <br />Engineering Services <br /> <br />Middlefield Road Culvert and Street <br /> <br />Reconstruction - Redwood City II (form dated 08/03/1989), a copy <br /> <br />of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
