4/5/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13592 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1999 SANITARY SEWER <br /> AND WATER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SIDEWALK REPAIR <br /> SERVICES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> the 1999 Sanitary Sewer and Water System Maintenance Sidewalk Repair <br /> Services in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bay Area Paving Co., Inc. of ,San Mateo, California, was the <br /> lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> accept the bid of Bay Area Paving Co., Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> i. The bid of Bay Area Paving Co., Inc., in the total amount of Fifteen <br />Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and No/100 Dollars ($15,360.00), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated March 11, 1999, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
