LL.OJiS <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br />JUN 5 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH AREA AGENCY ON AGING FOR INFORMATION AND <br />REFERRAL, TRANSPORTATION, NUTRITION, AND RELATED <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />(COUNTY OF SAN MATEO) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo, California, has designated itself the Area Agency on Aging <br /> <br />of the County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Agency desires the City of Redwood City to <br /> <br />provide certain social services pursuant to the agreement marked <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" entitled, "Area Agency on Aging Agreement", attached <br /> <br />hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council is willing to provide said services <br /> <br />pursuant to said agreement; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the Area Agency on <br /> <br />Aging of the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, pursuant to <br /> <br />which the City shall perform those certain social services <br /> <br />described in Section 1 of Exhibit "A" for the compensation <br /> <br />described in Section 5 of Exhibit "A", is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement <br /> <br />substantially in the form of Exhibit "A", for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
