ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> ENWRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br /> <br /> (ABBOTT LABORATORIES ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> / <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and ENVIRONMENTAL <br />SCIENCE ASSOCIATES ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires an environmental analysis in order to <br /> <br />understand the potential significance of environmental impact associated with <br />development of 1,000,000 square feet campus-style complex, consisting of <br />office, manufacturing, warehouse, and research and development uses; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an Initial Study <br /> <br /> is required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. <br /> Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines implementive thereof ("State <br /> CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and the City's Regulations <br /> implementive thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the completion of the Initial Study, the Project <br /> <br /> may be subject to environmental review pursuant to CEQA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Abbott Laboratories, Inc. has agreed to pay for the Initial <br /> <br /> Study and subsequent environmental review and preparation of documents (the <br /> "Environmental Review"); and <br /> <br /> F:Atty/Agr/Agr.010 <br /> <br /> <br />
