<br />MJP:djv 04/12/89 (044/24) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11020 <br /> <br />APR 1.7 1989 <br />AND <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER <br />ACCEPTING BID FOR RECARPETING OF SCHABERG LIBRARY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />public notice inviting bids was advertised for the recarpeting of <br /> <br />Schaberg Library for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice two bids were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Patterson Floor Covering, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and this Council <br /> <br />desires to accept said bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Patterson Floor Covering, Inc., Redwood <br /> <br />City, California, in the total amount of Seventeen Thousand Seven <br /> <br />Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($17,749.00) for the recarpeting of <br /> <br />Schaberg Library submitted in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated March 20, 1989 is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />recarpeting of Schaberg Library. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute a purchase order or other purchase documents (in form <br /> <br />approved by the City Attorney) for the acquisition of said <br />equipment, all in accordance with the specifications therefor and <br /> <br />the abovementioned bid proposal; a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />11020 <br />
