<br />DAS:mmo 03/23/89 (#23/l04) <br /> <br />APR :.1 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N ~ lLOl.l- <br /> <br />COpy <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RATES FOR <br />PERMITS FOR THE FRANKLIN STREET <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 10638 <br /> <br />PARKING <br />PARKING <br /> <br />FACILITY <br />LOT; AND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20.l86 of the Redwood City <br /> <br />Code, the City Council shall establish rates for permits <br /> <br />used in regulated unmetered offstreet parking facilities; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />designate the Franklin Street Parking Lot as a regulated <br /> <br />unmetered parking <br /> <br />facility, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />establish <br /> <br />rates <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />permits used in said lot; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. Except as otherwise provided in Paragraph 3 hereof, <br /> <br />this Council does hereby establish the following rates for the <br /> <br />parking permits issued by the City Collector for the Franklin <br /> <br />Street Public Parking Lot: <br /> <br />Semi-annual permits - $90.00 each <br /> <br />Said semi-annual permits shall be valid for a six (6) <br /> <br />month period, January 1 - June 30 and July 1 - December 3l <br /> <br />of each year. <br /> <br />Payment shall be made in advance of issuance. <br /> <br />No permits shall be issued for a lesser or greater periods of <br /> <br />time except as otherwise provided in Paragraph 2 hereof.
