' ' ' 3/22/99 <br /> ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> R£SOLUTION NO, 13583 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JOINT <br /> POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, THE <br /> CITIES OF BELMONT, FOSTER CITIES, SAN CARLOS, AND THE TOWN <br /> OF HILLSBOROUGH REGARDING THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POLICE <br /> SERVICES <br /> <br /> (Southern San Mateo Police Authority) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Joint Powers Agreement - Southern San <br /> Mateo Police Authority - by and between the City of Belmont, the City of Foster <br /> City, the Town of Hillsborough, the City of Redwood City and the City of San <br /> Carlos," by and between the City of Redwood City, the cities of Belmont, Foster <br /> City, San Carlos, and the Town of Hillsborough regarding the joint exercise of <br /> police authority, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively said agreement for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> Reso-623 <br /> f;~sh/sh/RC\CounciI <br /> FXS/fs <br /> 03/13/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
