ORIGINAL <br /> GRANT OF REVOCABLE PERMIT <br /> FOR <br /> (FARMERS MARI~EY) <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the provision of Resolution No. of the Council of the <br />City of Redwood City, adopted , 1999, permission is hereby <br /> <br />granted to the Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers ("Permittee"), to use the property <br />hereinafter described and owned by the City of Redwood City ("City"), under the <br />terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br /> This revocable permit (the "Permit") is granted subject to the following <br />terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. LOCATION. The real property ("Property") permitted to be used <br />hereunder is that certain City-owned parking lot bounded by Hamilton and <br />Winslow Streets, as shown on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and <br />by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. PURPOSE. Permittee, as sponsor of the Downtown Redwood City <br />Farmers Market shall use the Property for the purpose of operating periodically <br />as certified farmers market ("Events") to provide consumers with fresh produce <br />and other edible agricultural products at less than prevailing retail prices, to allow <br />producers to sell such produce at greater than wholesale prices, and to provide a <br />market outlet for home gardeners. <br /> <br /> 3. TEMPORARY PERMIT; REVOCATION. This permit is temporary in <br />nature and does not constitute a deed, grant of easement, lease, conveyance, or <br />transfer of any property interest or any employer-employee relationship between <br />the City and Permittee and is revocable without cause at any time by City, <br /> <br /> FlshlredwoodlcouncilGrant-13 1 <br /> 02/25/9g ' <br /> <br /> <br />
