<br />DAS:rn~~ 3/9/89 (#23/093) <br /> <br /><:.of\( <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.1 0999 <br /> <br />MAR 1 3 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT AT l627 MADDUX DRIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 <br />OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Lot 3, of the <br /> <br />Sterling Highlands No. 2 Subdivision, commonly known as 1627 <br /> <br />Maddux Drive is not needed for present or prospective public <br /> <br />service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public service easement as hereinafter described, and <br /> <br />elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is described <br /> <br />on Exhibit II A" and as depicted on Exhibit liB", (which exhibits <br /> <br />are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference). <br /> <br />3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, April 10, 1989, at <br /> <br />the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 <br /> <br />lO~99 <br />
