<br />DAS:mma 2/23/89 (#23/085) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />MAR - 6 1989 <br />ORIG/f~:AL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.1 0993 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR NO. <br />2 PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10949, adopted by the <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on December 19, 1988, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for Water Storage Reservoir No. 2 <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, eight bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Build Inc., Bountiful, Utah, <br /> <br />is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Build Inc.. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Build Inc., in the sum of Three Million Four <br /> <br />Hundred Forty-five Thousand Four Hundred Two and 80/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($3,445, 402.80), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated February 7, 1989, for Water Storage Reservoir No. 2 <br /> <br />Project, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Water Storage Reservoir <br /> <br />No. 2 Project" by and between the City of Redwood City and Build <br /> <br />Inc., for the performance of said work in accordance with the <br /> <br />10993 <br />
