<br />MJP:mro~ 2/23/89 (#23/082) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~Q.l_09~9 <br /> <br />O'Dir"~d i\L <br />nlUII~h <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE USED <br />PASSENGER VAN; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />FEB 271989 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one used passenger van for use by the City Senior Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of this vehicle; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, National Car Sales, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsive bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to National Car Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The bid of National Car Sales, in the sum of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred and Seventy Five and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($14,275.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 3, 1989, for the sale of one used passenger van for use <br /> <br />by the City Senior Center is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said vehicle. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />vehicle <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />]0989 <br />
