3/8/99 <br /> v ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13574 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR MEZES PARK <br /> RESTROOM RE-ROOFING PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />Mezes Parks Restroom Re-roofing Project in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one bid was received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jim Duffy Construction, Inc. of Menlo Park, California, was <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> accept the bid of Jim Duffy Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Jim Duffy Construction, Inc., in the total amount of <br />Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-two and No/100 Dollars ($13,432.00), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated January 25, 1999, is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
