FOR <br />MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF EMERGENCY SHELTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc., ("EHC") 1S <br /> <br />presently engaged in the operation of an emergency shelter in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, known as the Family Living Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, EHC is operating the aforesaid emergency shelter on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, and requires additional funds <br /> <br />to continue its program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received a grant of <br /> <br />Ninety-six Thousand One Hundred Eighty-three and NO/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($96,183.00) from the State of California, Federal Emergency <br /> <br />Shelter Grants Program, and desires to allocate said amount to <br /> <br />EHC for the purpose of funding the Family Living Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and EHC, <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the <br /> <br />same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10903 <br />
