<br />DES:mma 9/6/88 (#23/016) COpy <br />SEP 1 2 1~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10900 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />CONTROLLER CABINETS AND AUTHORIZING <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID PURCHASE <br /> <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />EXECUTION OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10835, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 25, 1988, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for furnishing traffic signal <br /> <br />controller cabinets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, five bids were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Traconex, Santa Clara, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Traconex. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Traconex, in the sum of Sixty Thousand Three <br /> <br />Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($60,300.00), computed in accordance <br /> <br />with said bidder's proposal for traffic signal controller <br /> <br />cabinets dated August 18, 1988, is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bid for said purchase. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute all documents on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for the purchase of said traffic signal controller <br /> <br />cabinets in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a <br /> <br />copy of which proposal is presently on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk to which reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />3. Any informalities in the aforementioned bid of the <br /> <br />aforementioned Traconex, are hereby waived. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10900 <br />
