<br />DES:rruna 9/2/88 (#23/017) ORIGINAL <br /> <br />SEP 1 2 19a3 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10899 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />CONTROLLERS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID PURCHASE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10834, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 25, 1988, the <br />City Clerk called for bids for furnishing traffic signal <br /> <br />controllers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, two bids were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Multisonics, Dublin, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Multisonics. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mul tisonics, in the sum of Thirty Nine <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Eighty <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Eighty-five <br /> <br />No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($39,885.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />for traffic signal controllers, is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bid for said purchase. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said traffic signal controllers in accordance <br /> <br />with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />3.
