<br />DAS:mmrr 9/2/88 (#23/014) <br /> <br />-------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI <br /> <br />QN 10894 <br /> <br />SEP 1 2 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY OR SERVICE <br />EASEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br /> <br />with ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 10853, adopted August 8, 1988, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate respectively the public utility or service <br /> <br />easement heretofore dedicated, as described and depicted in <br /> <br />Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, and commonly known as a portion of the Peninsula <br /> <br />Boardwalk Shopping Center in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the abovementioned <br /> <br />easement has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />public utility or service easement, as respectively described and <br /> <br />depicted in Exhibits "A" and "B" is unnecessary for present or <br /> <br />prospective public purposes and hereby orders said easement <br /> <br />vacated. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record a certified <br /> <br />copy of this resolution in the office of the County Recorder of <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10894 <br />
