<br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7-15-88) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0885 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH TRAVELERS' AID SOCIETY OF SAN FRANCISCO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Travelers' Aid Society of San Francisco, has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing information, advice, <br /> <br />guidance and protection to travelers who by reason of inexperience, illness <br /> <br />infirmity or other disability are in need of assistance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Travelers' Aid Society of San Francisco, has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Travelers' Aid Of San Francisco, the sum of ONE <br /> <br />THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00) DOLLARS, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Travelers' Aid Society <br /> <br />Of San Francisco, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10885 <br />
