0 R I G i N A L 1/25/99 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13542 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR AUTOMATIC AID FOR FIRE <br /> RESPONSES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the fire service agencies within the County of San Mateo, <br />including the City of Redwood City, desire to establish an automatic aid system <br />throughout the County which will provide the most immediate and efficient <br />response to calls for service irrespective of jurisdictional boundaries; and <br /> WHEREAS, said fire service agencies have heretofore entered into an <br />Automatic Aid Agreement and Deployment Plan for paramedic responses within <br />the County based upon the same principle; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement hereinafter referenced, which provides for <br />such automatic aid, has been presented to and reviewed by this Council and this <br /> <br /> Council desires to approve and authorize execution thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled, "Automatic Aid for Fire Responses," <br /> by and among the Cities of Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Foster City, Town of <br /> Hillsborough, Millbrae, Pacifica, San Bruno, San Mateo, South San Francisco, <br /> and the City of Redwood City and the California Department of Forestry and Fire <br /> Protection, Colma Fire Protection District, Half Moon Bay Fire Protection District, <br /> <br /> Reso-559 1 <br /> DES:rg <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 12/15/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
