<br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 2 1900 <br /> <br />(7-15-88) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10877 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH FOUNDATION FOR HEARING RESEARCH INC. <br />(PENINSULA ORAL SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Foundation for Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsula Oral <br /> <br />School for the Deaf) has been established for the principal purpose <br /> <br />of providing an educational program for deaf children in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood CitYi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Foundation for Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsula Oral <br /> <br />School for the Deaf) has requested financial assistance for use by <br /> <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the Foundation for Hearing Research Inc., (Peninsula <br /> <br />Oral School for the Deaf) the sum of TWO-THOUSAND SEVEN-HUNDRED FIFTY <br /> <br />AND NO/DOLLARS ($2,750.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Foundation for Hearing <br /> <br />Research Inc. (Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf), and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10877 <br />
