<br />DAS:mma 8/5/88 (#23/003) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 847 <br /> <br />AUG 81988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR POLICE FACILITY ROOF <br />REPLACEMENT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10824, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 11, 1988, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for Police Facility Roof Replacement; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Blues Roof Company, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Blues Roof Company. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Blues Roof Company, in the sum of <br /> <br />Fourty Five Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-six and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($45,936.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />Police Facility Roof Replacements, is hereby found and declared <br />to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Police Facility Roof <br /> <br />Replacement" by and between the City of Redwood City and Blues <br /> <br />Roof Company, for the performance of said work in accordance with <br /> <br />the abovementioned bid proposal, copies of which agreement is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10847 <br />
