<br />DAS:mrnn 8/4/88 (#22/0l4) <br />AUG 8 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />!!Q.I0846 <br /> <br />OR'f'1~.,,!l'.! <br />I\JII'ii... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID <br />DRIVEWAY RECONSTRUCTION; <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />FOR FIRE STATION NO. <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> <br />11 <br />OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10817, adopted June 27, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for the reconstruction of <br /> <br />the Fire Station No. 11 driveway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, four bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, P & F Construction Inc., Oakland, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to P & F Construction Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of P & F Construction Inc. in the sum of Twenty <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($20,200.00), for all of <br /> <br />said reconstruction work, computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated July 26, 1988, is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Fire Station No. 11 <br /> <br />Driveway Reconstruction", by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and P & F Construction Inc. for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> <br />10846 <br />
