<br />DAS:mmg 7/28/88 (#22/009) <br />DAS : mm( , / 29/88 R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 83 9 <br /> <br />JUL 2 91988 <br />OR'GINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE SALE OF ONE (1) VAN <br />PELT FIRE PUMPER TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SALE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the sale of <br /> <br />one (1) Van Pelt fire pumper truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, <br /> <br />(1) bid was <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hopland Fire Department, Hopland, California is <br />the highest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of The Hopland Fire Department; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of the Hopland Fire Department, Hopland, <br /> <br />California for the purchase of one (1) Van Pelt fire pumper truck <br /> <br />at a total bid price of Twenty Two Thousand Six Hundred and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($22,600.00) computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated July 26, 1988, is hereby accepted; said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the highest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said truck. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the sale of said truck in accordance with the abovementioned bid <br /> <br />proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk to which reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10839 <br />
