1/4/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13535 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR EMERGENCY <br /> ELECTRICAL REPAIRS SERVICE; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAIO WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13506, adopted November 2, <br />1998, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Emergency Electrical Repairs <br />Service in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, S.G. Barber Construction, Inc. of Belmont, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to S.G. Barber Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S.G. Barber Construction, Inc. in the amount of Seventeen <br />Thousand One Hundred Thirty-two and No/100 Dollars ($17,132.00), computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 25, 1998 for the <br />Emergency Electrical Repairs Service, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
