<br />D~ik 06/09/88 (#21) <br /> <br />included in the service area of any water company <br />or system acquired in bulk by the City shall be <br />included in Area 5. <br /> <br />II (6) Area 6: All premises located wi thin or outside <br />the City of Redwood City on publicly-owned <br />property and used as a college campus shall be <br />included in Area 6. <br /> <br />"(b) Basic Water Rates. <br /> <br />Commenc ing on June 1 , 1988 <br /> <br />water rates to be charged and collected for water supplied <br /> <br />by the City of Redwood City to consumers served by the water <br /> <br />system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, for <br /> <br />water delivered, based on monthly readings, shall be as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />QUANTITY <br /> <br />BASIC RATE <br /> <br />"(1) for the first 33,300 cubic feet <br /> <br />$1.2650 per 100 <br />cubic feet <br /> <br />"(2) for all quantities over 33,300 <br />cubic feet <br /> <br />$1.1160 per 100 <br />cubic feet <br /> <br />"(c) Monthly Water Quantity Charges. <br /> <br />A monthly water <br /> <br />quantity charge for water supplied by the water system owned <br /> <br />or operated by the City of Redwood City shall be paid by <br /> <br />consumers for water quantities furnished to premises located <br /> <br />within the hereinafter designated water service areas in an <br /> <br />amount equal to the applicable basic water quantity rate or <br /> <br />rates times the corresponding quantity of water consumed (as <br /> <br />determined pursuant to Section 3(b), above) times the <br /> <br />multiplier hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />WATER SERVICE AREA <br /> <br />MULTIPLIER <br /> <br />Area 1 <br />Area 2 <br />Area 3 <br />Area 4 <br /> <br />1.0 <br />1.4 <br />1.1 <br />1.9 <br /> <br />2 <br />
