<br />DAS~~jl 5/13/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 792 <br /> <br />MAY 1 6 1988 <br /> <br />OOlr,lM ilL <br />,Uuirl/!'. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR BROADWAY SIDEWALKS <br />DEMONSTRATION REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10768, adopted April 11, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for Broadway Sidewalks <br /> <br />Demonstration Replacement Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, two bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Golden Bay Construction, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />San Carlos, <br /> <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Golden <br /> <br />Bay Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Golden Bay Construction, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />Seventy-six Thousand Sixty-one and No/lOO Dollars ($76,061.00), <br /> <br />for all of said construction work, except Additive Alternative <br /> <br />Bids A and B, Twenty-three Thousand Two Hundred Seventy and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($23,270.00) for all Additive Alternative Bid A <br /> <br />work (includes removal and replacement of seven trees and <br /> <br />pre-cost concrete planters), and Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($12,900.00) for all Additive Alternative Bid B <br /> <br />work <br /> <br />(includes <br /> <br />replacement of planter box only with a <br /> <br />cast-in-place concrete planter), computed in accordance with <br /> <br />I 0 792 <br />
