QUALIFICATIONS--This section lists those knowledges, abili- <br />ties, skills, and physical characteristics that the duties of <br />the class typically require and that applicants for positions <br />in the class should possess. It should be stressed that this <br />section does not in any way refer to the qualifications of <br />present employees. Personal characteristics commonly required <br />of all employees, such as honesty, industry, freedom from <br />habitual use of intoxicating beverages to excess or drug <br />addiction, have not been listed since they are to be implied <br />as required qualifications for all classes. <br /> <br />. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES--In certain classifications, legal or <br />special provisions require possession of a specific license or <br />certification issued by a Board of Licensure as a condition of <br />employment. These requirements appear in the class specifica- <br />tion under the section entitled license or Certificate. <br /> <br />A sample format of the class specification is presented on the fol- <br />lowing page. <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS OF LEVELS OF SUPERVISION <br /> <br />The following terms have been used to denote the levels of supervi- <br />sion received and exercised by positions in the various classes of <br />work: <br /> <br />.
