<br />DA~ )jl 3/234/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10752 <br /> <br />MAR 2 8 1988 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A STREET EASEMENT <br />(A PORTION OF THE NORTH SIDE OF ORCHARD AVENUE EAST <br />OF WOODSIDE ROAD) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE <br />OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />O,7lGJNAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a easement for a street in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated as described and depicted in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, (which <br /> <br />easement is a portion of the north side of Orchard Avenue east of <br /> <br />Woodside Road in the City of Redwood City), is not needed for <br /> <br />present or prospective highway or street purposes; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br />vacate a street easement as described and depicted in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A", (which easement is a portion of the north side of Orchard <br /> <br />Avenue east of Woodside Road in the City of Redwood City), and <br /> <br />elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. Notice is hereby given that Monday, May 2, 1988, at the <br /> <br />hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 <br /> <br />Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, is the time and place <br /> <br />set for hearing all persons interested in, or obj ecting to the <br /> <br />proposed vacation. <br /> <br />10752 <br />
