<br />SWC'.bjl 3/18/88 <br /> <br />(#22) <br />ORIGl Nf\1 <br />MAR 2 1 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10744 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF CITY OWNED LAND AT <br />CORNER OF PINE AND MIDDLEFIELD; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID PREMISES (HUMAN <br />INVESTMENT PROJECT, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10719, adopted February <br /> <br />8, 1988, the City Clerk called for bids for the lease of City <br /> <br />owned land for purpose of the construction and operation of a <br /> <br />home for affordable shared living; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Human <br /> <br />Investment Project, <br /> <br />inc. , <br /> <br />San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Human Investment Project, Inc; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Human Investment Project, Inc., dated March <br /> <br />8, 1988, including certificates of experience and financial <br /> <br />capability and non-profit status, for the lease of the premises <br /> <br />according to those certain bid documents and lease agreement <br /> <br />entitled "Lease Agreement" (form dated March 18, 1988R) is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said lease. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain lease agreement entitled "Lease Agreement" by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc., for <br /> <br />the lease of said premises in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid documents and lease agreement, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />10744 <br />
