Exhibit "A" March 14, 1988 Mr. Pete Hughes peninsula Celebration Association 680 Main Street Redwood City, California 94063 Re: INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL Dear Mr. Hughes: This letter will serve as your permission to conduct an Independence Day Parade and Festival in the City of Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions hereof. This permit is issued pursuant to Resolution No. 1074,1 adopted March 21 , 1988, by the Counc i 1 0 f the Ci ty 0 f Redwood City. The permission is granted to the Peninsula Celebration Association (hereinafter, for convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Parade and Festival. The parade and festival shall be sponsored and conducted by Permittee. 2. Revocation. wi thout cause by the non-transferable. This City permit may be revoked at any time of Redwood City. This permit is 3. The parade herein permitted shall be conducted, and the City right-of-way reserved therefor, along the following route: Beginning at Brewster and Arguello; continuing on Arguello, to Broadway; continuing on Broadway to Middlefield; continuing on Middlefield to Main; left on Main; continuing on Main to Marshall; left on Marshall; dispersing at approximately Warren and Bradford. The festival herein permitted shall be conducted, and the City right-of-way reserved therefor, on Broadway, between Main Street and Winslow Street, on Middlefield Road and on Hamilton Street, between Broadway and Marshall Street. The location of the parade is shown on "Exhibit A" and the location of the festival is shown on "Exhibit B", both exhibits of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
