<br />DA$...J?jl 3/10/88 (#22) <br /> <br />MAR 1 4 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0734 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY DESIGNATING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES <br />AND APPOINTING MEMBERS OF PRECINCT BOARDS FOR GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1988, <br />AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH OR CAUSE TO BE <br />PUBLISHED A NOTICE OF ELECTION, LIST OF ELECTION OFFICERS <br />AND POLLING PLACES AND NOTICE OF NOMINEES FOR PUBLIC <br />OFFICE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That for the conduct of the general municipal election <br /> <br />to be held in said the City on April 12,1988, said City of <br /> <br />Redwood City shall be divided into 36 precincts as now <br /> <br />established of record by the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo <br /> <br />County, State of California, for general state and county <br /> <br />election purposes. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22804 <br /> <br />of the Elections Code, said precincts are consolidated. <br /> <br />2. The identification of the polling places for each <br /> <br />precinct established herein and the election officers appointed <br /> <br />to conduct said election thereat shall be as set forth in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />3. The officers to be elected at said general municipal <br /> <br />election shall be four (4) Council members for the full term of <br /> <br />four (4) years each. <br /> <br />4. The compensation of each of the election officers <br /> <br />hereby appointed, and in full therefor, is hereby fixed as <br /> <br />follows: $60.00 to each inspector and $50.00 to each judge. <br /> <br />5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish or cause <br /> <br />to be published in the Redwood City Almanac in the time, form and <br /> <br />1 0 734 <br />
