Financial interests are reportable only <br />if located within the Redwood City Sphere of Influence or if the business <br />entity is doing business or planning to do business in the Redwood City Sphere <br />of Influence or has done business within the Redwood City Sphere of Influence <br />at any time during the two years prior to the filing of the statement. <br /> <br />Designated Employees in Category 2, must report: <br /> <br />(a) Investments in any business entity which manufactures, distributes, <br />sells or otherwise provides services, supplies, materials, machinery <br />or equipment of a type utilized by the Housing/Redevelopment Division. <br /> <br />(b) Income from any source which manufactures, distributes, sells or <br />otherwise provides such services, supplies, materials, machinery or <br />equipment. <br /> <br />(c) His or hEr status as a director, officer, partrer, trustee, employee, <br />or .holder of a position of management in any b~siness as described in <br />paragraph (a), above. <br /> <br />Designated Employees in Category 3* must report: <br /> <br />Any investments, interests and income in or derived fro~ real property located <br />within housing rehabilitation or redevelopment areas or neighborhoods <br />designated by the City Council under the City's Housing Rehabilitation Loan <br />Program or Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />*Regardless of the primary residence report filing exception under the <br />designated Category 1, it is strongly suggested that investments or interests <br />in the principle residence of those individuals residing within the designated <br />housing rehabilitation loan program neighborhood(s) or redevelopment area(s), <br />report such investments or interest. This suggestion considers such <br />circumstances as special and unusual, inasmuch as issues may be raised at <br />public hearings questioning the integrity of individuals or authorities that <br />process loan applications and perform services under the Loan Program who <br /> <br />Exhibit D Page 4 of 6 <br />
