<br />DF.S:djk 12/3/87 (#21) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10688 <br /> <br />DEe 7 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 3, 1987 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, pursuant to Resolution <br /> <br />No. 10563, adopted July 27, 1987 ordered submission of an <br /> <br />initiative Charter amendment measure to the electors of said City <br /> <br />at a Special Municipal Election therein called for such purpose <br /> <br />on November 3, 1987, and requested the Board of Supervisors of <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo to consolidate said election with the <br /> <br />Statewide General Election on said date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Special Municipal Election was held on <br /> <br />Tuesday, November 3, 1987 in accordance with law, and the votes <br /> <br />thereat received and canvassed, <br /> <br />and the results thereof <br /> <br />determined and certified in all respects as required by law; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, <br /> <br />and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes <br /> <br />of this Council as a statement of the results of said election. <br /> <br />2. At said election the following measure was submitted to <br /> <br />the electors of said City, and the number of votes given for and <br /> <br />against said measure (including absentee votes) was as follows: <br /> <br />1 u 688 <br />
