<br />(. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />,. ..i. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.3 TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT FOR <br />DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES WITH <br />COLLECTION BUREAU OF AMERICA <br /> <br />This Amendment NO.3 is entered into and effective as of the t1-1'f'fday of May, <br />2009, extending the agreement dated December 18, 2006 (the "Agreement") by and <br />between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br />of California ("RWC" or "City"), and Collection Bureau of America, Inc., a California <br />corporation, ("CBA" or "Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties") for CBA to provide <br />additional services to the City as set forth below. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. On May 16, 2008, the Parties executed Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement <br />to continue the provision of debt collection services by the Consultant for the automatic <br />dial and delivery of pre-recorded messages to businesses; and <br /> <br />B. On December 8, 2008, the Parties executed Amendment No. 2 to the <br />Agreement to continue the provision of debt collection services by the Consultant for <br />the automatic dial and delivery of pre-recorded messages to businesses; and <br /> <br />C. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement for an additional six-month <br />period. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is hereby <br />extended for a period of six months ending on November 16, 2009. <br /> <br />2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br />time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by the Consultant <br />pursuant to the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, shall include <br />coverage for this Amendment. <br /> <br />A TTY/AGR/2009/Amend No.3 CBA <br />051109 <br />
