<br />I:XHIBIT A <br /> <br />May 3, 2007 <br /> <br />Maureen Riordan <br />Senior Planner <br />City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />RE: Additional Services <br />Sequoia Hospital Precise Plan <br /> <br />Dear Maureen, <br /> <br />Per our conversation, this letter is requesting authorization of additional services due to <br />changes in the scope of services and schedule as agreed to in our original May 2006 <br />contract. The changes are a result of extending the contract time period, request for <br />additional color copies of the Precise Plan and comments received as part of the EIR. <br /> <br />I. Additional coordination and meetings. Consultant shall provide <br />project communications and coordination with the City, City consultants and <br />the project applicant as needed with the extension of original contract end-date <br />of March 3 I, 2007 to a new contract end-date of August 30, 2007 and to <br />prepare a response memoranda (I) to EIR comments. This includes up to two <br />additional meetings for a proposed budget of $5,000. <br /> <br />2. Reimbursable expenses: Consultant shall be reimbursed for printing costs <br />in addition to the original contract quantity of one reproducible draft and one <br />reproducible final copy of the Precise Plan. Cost of 30 color draft precise plans <br />is $1,650, and an estimated cost for additional 30-color final precise plans is <br />$1,650, for a total of $3,300. <br /> <br />The above is to be billed on a time and materials basis not to exceed a proposed budget <br />of $8,300. <br /> <br />If you find the above additional scope of work acceptable, please sign both copies of this <br />letter and return one to us for our records. <br /> <br />Best regards, <br />Bruce <br /> <br />Client & date <br /> <br />Bruce A.
